Summary
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric horror multiplayer game, created by Behaviour Interactive, and is soon to celebrate its ninth anniversary.
With this announcement, Behaviour Interactive has released details about some of the developments that fans can expect to see in the coming year.
One development is the inclusion of a new killer in the game, Springtrap from the game Five Nights at Freddy’s.
Springtrap will be joined by a new map based on the Freddy Fazbear’s restaurant from the same series.
The other notable development is the inclusion of costumes from the Witcher series, namely Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, Triss and Eredin.
These characters will be available through the form of costumes for the Survivor Vittorio Toscano.
There are also some gameplay developments, with adjustments to The Archives and gamma settings, and increasing the number of spectators allowed in custom matches.
Finally, the developer has announced a new chapter due in 2026, where players will be able to vote on different aspects of a new killer and survivor via a choose-your-own-adventure style feature.
