Summary
Finnish game developer Remedy’s upcoming first-person shooter (FPS) FBC: Firebreak is set to undergo a closed technical test commencing tomorrow, 15 May, and closing on 19 May.
The game, a spinoff of Control, is set in the Bureau’s universe, with players taking on the role of firefighters fighting to bring order to the chaos of the Hiss.
Scheduled for release on 17 June, Firebreak is multiplayer oriented, featuring two versus one gameplay, with two players taking on the role of firefighters and the third taking on the role of the “igniter,” a rogue firefighter that has betrayed their teammates and is possessed by a powerful entity.
While entry to the technical test is by invitation only, Rock, Paper, Shotgun has provided a link to the sign-up page, albeit with the warning that entry is not guaranteed.
