Bungie used an artist's work without permission in Marathon

Summary
Independent artist Antireal has accused Halo developer Bungie of plagiarising their designs, by incorporating them into its upcoming first-person shooter Marathon.
Antireal, who produces futuristic posters and has done so for a decade, posted images of their work alongside images from Marathon’s recent alpha test.
The images show obvious parallels between the artist’s work and in-game assets, such as walls, containers and tarpaulins.
Bungie has conceded that the art is copyrighted to Antireal, but claims it was an oversight by a former employee, and has only occurred once before.
This is at least the fourth time Bungie has been accused of plagiarism, having previously copied a Nerf gun design, a Destiny 2 cutscene design and a fan’s art, the latter of which resulted in a trailer using the art being taken down.
The company says it is reviewing its processes to prevent similar occurrences in future.
