Summary
The King Is Watching is a strategic game based on maximising productivity, requiring the player to pay attention to certain areas of their kingdom at critical times in order to optimise resource production, train troops and defend against attacks.
Whilst the player governs the kingdom, they must also be ever vigilant, as ignoring the ongoing needs of the kingdom will result in production stopping.
The game is set in a fictional world with a retro feel, where the player can choose different kings to rule, each with their own unique challenges.
There is a new build of the game available on Steam, which has had a makeover, including the addition of a visible king who wears a golden face mask, and the ability for the player to choose the next three attack waves, with more difficult waves paying better rewards.
The game is set for full release soon, with Rock, Paper, Shotgun anticipating a review of the game in due course.
