One title that piques Russell’s interest is Calyx, which combines base-building and incursions on a lifeless planet that turns out to host alien vines that inch towards your base.

The developers, Studio 568, are comprised of three people who have worked on games at Epic Games, Lionhead and Natural Motion.
The demo contains a tutorial and an alpha-quality mid-game level to show users what the full game will look like.
