Summary
A new game based on the American TV show Severance has been created by Tyde and is available to play for free on itch.io.
Titled Lumon, the game references the fictional workplace drama of the series, in which everyone goes through their daily routine and behaviour is dictated by their workday ‘selves’ and their personal ‘selves’ at night, not mixing the two.
The game is a colour-matching numbers exercise, referencing the dramatised chores of Lumon employees in the show.
While the game isn’t too advanced, it does provide a meditative experience, representatives of the show and game have stated that there are secret numbers to uncover relating to a mystery in the series.
Lumon is one of several game tributes to the show, which also includes Fractured and The Backrooms.
