Summary
New raft mechanics have been introduced in the latest update for Sons of the Forest, which improves the survival abilities of players who may be fleeing from cannibals with poor swimming skills.
Rafts can now be mooring/anchored to the shoreline and come in varying sizes from small to houseboat.
Players can also now construct defensive walls around their raft bases and departures from the usual survival mechanics, characters Kelvin and Virginia now have improved swimming abilities and can pull themselves out of deep water at the water’s edge.
Additional updates improve the aiming of weapons such as the crossbow, compound bow, crafted bow, shotgun and slingshot, which are all skill improvements critical to scaring away any bad guys (cannibals) and allowing players to get away quickly.
