NASA and Boeing investigate Starliner’s ‘anomalies’ before its next crewed flight

Summary
Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner spacecraft is being prepared for a new flight, following months of work after issues on its last flight left it unable to ferry astronauts back to earth.
Boeing and NASA are working on resolving anomalies with the spacecraft’s in-flight systems before a potential crewed launch in either later this year or early 2026.
The craft took off successfully in June last year, carrying astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore to the International Space Station.
However, a series of issues, including problems with the spacecraft’s thrusters, valves and helium systems, led to the craft being brought back to Earth in September, leaving the astronauts stranded.
Williams and Wilmore returned to earth aboard a SpaceX craft earlier this month.
