Pop star Katy Perry has been sent into space by Jeff Bezos’ company Blue Origin, and made a “special announcement” from zero gravity.
Perry, who was joined by Blue Origin’s first female flight crew, said she would reveal more when she returned to Earth.
The mission, known as NS-31, lasted for a total of 10 minutes, and saw the New Shepard rocket launch into space before making a safe return to Earth.
The rocket was propelled to space from the company’s facility in Texas, and flights typically see passengers able to move around for a few minutes when the rocket reaches its maximum altitude.
This was Blue Origin’s 31st flight, following missions in February and May this year.
