Oura adds AI-powered glucose tracking and meal logging

Health analytics company Oura is doubling down on metabolic health, with two new features based on AI-powered insights that track glucose levels and meals.
The glucose tracking function is delivered in partnership with US company Dexcom, and requires buyers to have both an Oura Ring and a Dexcom Stelo CGM.
The Meals feature uses the AI-based Oura Advisor chatbot, which offers nutritional analysis based on photos of meals.
Although the glucose tracking function will only be available in the US, both features are available through the Oura Ring Labs Symptom Radar wearable smart ring to users in the US, UK, and Finland, with more countries to be added.
The move comes as interest in tracking metabolic health increases among athletes and health and wellness enthusiasts.
