EcoFlow brings its plug-in solar power plant to US homes

Summary
EcoFlow will be the first company to sell a plug-in solar device in the US, allowing consumers to lower energy bills and gain modest backup power.
The product, called Stream Series, is designed to plug into a 120V wall socket, making installation cheap and simple, without the need for an agreement with a utility company.
EcoFlow claims that widespread European adoption of balcony solar systems proves the devices are safe.
The Stream Series uses a microinverter to make solar power usable in a home, alongside EcoFlow’s batteries, which can be used in emergencies or at times of high demand to reduce peak price spikes.
The system can support up to 2000W of solar power input.
EcoFlow has also launched an energy management platform called Oasis to monitor the system remotely.
