Bill Gates tears into Elon Musk for being ‘involved in the deaths of the world’s poorest children’

Summary
During an interview with the New York Times, Bill Gates has criticised Elon Musk for his role in cutting funding to the USAID, resulting in an increase in childhood deaths, an issue which was already a significant problem.
Gates claims the reductions in USaid funding are ‘stunning’, being closer to 80% rather than the expected 20%, and no-one was expecting this.
He goes on to say that Mr Musk is not living up to his commitments to giving, as he can wait until he dies before fulfilling them.
Despite this criticism, Gates has also announced he is winding down his own foundation, and plans to give away all his wealth to global health and development projects across the world.
