Star Wars is full of futuristic references, space travel, and science concepts
Many of these references are purely fictional, such as the sound of spaceship engines in space or laser beams from blasters
Sound cannot travel through space because there is no medium to transmit it; in space, there is essentially a vacuum or void with very little particles or matter, unlike air on Earth
Lightsabers are also impossible as the laser beam would be invisible and travel at the speed of light, and thus audiences wouldn’t be able to see it; also, lasers cannot be shot at someone and miss, as the light beam would disperse upon impact, meaning a combat situation involving lasers would be impossible
Finally, faster-than-light communication is untrue in the Star Wars universe;
