NIH Funding Cuts Appear to Draw on Heritage Foundation Report That Blasts ‘DEI Staff’

The planned cap on these costs will lead to reductions of tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars for some research universities, as well as the loss of jobs for labourers, administrators, janitors, technicians and other support staff.
The move comes as part of a wider trend of cuts to research funding, which some see as part of an attempt to undermine or reverse the progress of the “longitudinal research project” known as “preparedness”.
