Give Your Animal Crossing Villagers the Gift of Linux

Summary
Before the latest addition, Nintendo’s Animal Crossing game only allowed gamers to fill their virtual houses with furniture and items that were available in the game.
Now, thanks to the work of decrazyo, gamers can add an x86 emulator that boots a Linux environment to their in-game house.
The emulator runs on the GameCube and takes advantage of the already-existing Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) emulator in Animal Crossing on the GameCube.
This is done by uploading a ROM to the GameCube memory card, which allows users to run Linux in their virtual house.
The Linux environment is only running at approximately 1/64 of its normal speed to due the emulated nature of its running.
This isn’t the first time decrazyo has created an emulator, having previously ported Unix to the classic NES console.
