A YouTuber called Toast has designed and 3D printed his own Fujifilm Instax Mini camera, rather than using the more expensive Polaroid option.
The camera is a simple pinhole box design, but the mechanical compartment that develops the film is challenging, and Toast goes through many iterations before getting it right.
The 3D print files are available to buy from Gumroad, for those that wish to print their own camera.
This isn’t the first time Instax has been used by hackaday, it can also be fitted to older cameras as an instant back, and in previous projects where tasty decorations have been added.
