Cal Bryant used OpenSCAD and FreeCAD to design a modular mounting solution to fit a range of equipment into a single custom-sized 2U rackmount unit.
Having multiple standalone devices - a DAC, input selector, streamer and power router - can often result in a messy and unorganised rack, however, this system keeps things tidy and professional with switch boxes for audio and power routing all in one central unit.
The design included UV-printed graphics to add the finishing touch to the project and the end result is a sturdy unit which resembles something straight off the factory floor.
This is a good example of how to professionally organise a range of audio and power routing equipment.
