Photography enthusiast Billt has found a way to make his own interchangeable camera lenses using simple materials to create an effect similar to a telescope objective holder.
On a 3D printer, Billt created a DIY lens mount by adapting a camera cap project, which allows for different types of lenses to be utilised.
The mount can house lenses from disposable or Holga cameras, which are mounted on a sliding mechanism to enable focusing.
Although the design’s potential for improvement is limited, it is a cost-effective solution for those who wish to experiment with home photography without investing in expensive equipment.
