FlyingCam is a short-range, ad hoc, webcam on a gooseneck, created by Sebastian Duell.
It is designed to be portable, simple and cheap, consisting of an ESP32 board, attached to an IKEA gooseneck lamp, with a small fan, battery and switch added.
It can provide either a local AP or connect to a local network, and has a rudimentary wireless screen to view the feed remotely.
The hack is an example of how innovative products can be created from readily available components, such as the IKEA gooseneck lamp, and open-source hardware like the ESP32.
It can be used for a one-off scenario, or more permanent monitoring, as required.
