On opening thebox, he found it was little more than a blue LED that is visually impressive but actually does nothing.
This is the latest in a long line of fake electronic devices, including power savers and car ECU optimisers, aimed at people who don’t understand the technology.
The blog suggests that many of these fake devices are aimed at an uninformed, rural demographic that could be persuaded to buy snake oil, but also warns more savvy purchasers to be aware that even they can be caught out.
