A peek at an electronic trainer or prototyping workstation from the past, based on a breadboard, a collection of components, and simple equipment all in a suitcase or box for portability.
A current version has been created by Pro Maker_101 and is made with a bespoke circuit board, a Raspberry Pi attached to a breakout board, all encased in a 3D printed shell.
It’s suggested that a breadboard could be added to the design and be anchored as a sort of lid that opens like a book, with components on one side and the breadboard on the other.
The advantages of such devices are the ability to mix and match to make your own mini version of your dream prototyping station, and the educational benefits of being able to hack anywhere.
