An Australian radio station has been using an AI-generated DJ called ‘Thy’ for their midday slot, revealing that the chatbot voice was generated from an actual employee in the finance department.
Although radio stations have previously used robo-jocks for the midday slot, using an AI chatbot for voice and content is a new development, which has upset fans who have been listening to a bot for months.
