1 min read
Summary
The Malling-Hansen Takygraf is a writing machine created by Rasmus Malling-Hansen with the purpose of typing at the speed of human speech, which it could do so at speeds of up to 1200 characters per minute.
It was a combination of a writing ball with electromagnets and a mechanical memory unit which allowed it to work as a typewriter, with the memory unit making contact with the electromagnets to create the necessary type impressions on the paper.
The “Cleaver” is another aluminium keyboard with tiny holes that make up the key legends and was created by the same company as the “Icebreaker” aluminium keyboard we covered previously.
The “Protractor” is an adjustable monoblock split keyboard with sliding angles and was made with a nice!nano v2 using 60 Gateron KS-33 switches and is described as being flat enough to use the table as a palm rest.
The “Centerfold” features on a battlestation with four screens which allows the user to see everything they need on one screen without needing to switch tasks or tabs.
