Semiconductor Simulator Lets Your Play IC Designer

Summary
A new browser-based semiconductor simulation tool has been developed to help people build devices as they would on an IC die.
Created by Brandon Liu and with help from Paul Falstad, the tool uses a drop-down selector to chose the type of component being drawn, as well as a range of tools dedicated to designing semiconductor components.
Examples on the site include diodes, transistors and even more complex components such as ring oscillators.
Liu highlights that in an IC substrate, resistors are often the sloppy component, while capacitors, whilst they may not be exact, can be very precisely matched.
