The Screamer Is Just Like The Clapper But Even More Annoying

Summary
Kevin O’Connor has built a device called The Screamer which turns appliances on or off when it detects high amplitude noises with lots of energy in the 1,000-4,000Hz frequency range, otherwise known as a scream.
The device uses a Sonoff S31 smart switch, chosen for its internal ESP8266, which is easy to reprogram with ESPHome, and an extra ESP32 with an INMP441 microphone connected over I2S for sound detection.
When a scream is detected, the ESP32 sends a signal to the S31, which toggles the state of the smart switch.
The Screamer is a simple but effective home automation tool, reminiscent of The Clapper from the 1990s.
