An review/preview of White Knight Labs’ Offensive Development Practitioner Certification course has been released, praising the amount of content covered and the legitimacy of the course provider.
The author is a cyber risk analyst who had been studying different aspects of cyber security before picking up the course; they also reveal they are not a red teamer, but do have an interest in malware development.
The course covers a large amount of content, split between a large PDF and video lesson, and teaches students how to deploy a lab using Terraform on AWS, followed by a series of lab objectives such as process injection and DLL loading.
It also teaches students how to develop malware through an OPSEC lens, and how to evade detection with various options offered to students throughout the course.
The reviewer warns that the exam for the certification is very hard, but that they purchased the course for the content rather than the certification, and believe it is excellent for anyone looking to get into red team work, offensive tool development, or malware research.
