Palo Alto Networks has launched a new section on its Unit 42 site called Insights, featuring articles that are “messier but equally important” than the usual articles on the site.
The new articles will include “early thoughts, quick observations, theories about the threat landscape, or the conversation a consultant has over and over with clients”.
The move comes after the success of two articles on the Muddled Libra hacker group, which were based on conversations among experts within the company about the group, rather than a formal threat assessment.
The Insights articles are designed to give a “more immediate view of what we’re seeing and thinking about”, said Jen Burns, who writes the articles.
