Summary
3D printer manufacturer Bambu has developed a new model that can also cut, draw and etch.
The Bambu H2D has two 3D printing nozzles and a large bed and comes with a modular attachment system to facilitate the switching on and off of tools.
It can use a blade to cut through paper and vinyl, a pen to draw and lasers to engrave and burn images into a variety of materials.
The attachments include a 10-watt and 40-watt laser, and those using the printer can carve out wooden stencils or turn drawings into coasters, for example.
The H2D costs $1,899, with other packages available, some with different laser strengths.
The Bambu H2D is on pre-order now and shipping is expected at the end of April.
