Summary
Canon has released an updated version of its entry-level EOS R50 mirrorless camera, the EOS R50 V, with several added features focused on videography.
The most notable improvements are 4K video at 60 fps — double the frame rate of the previous model — and additional video stabilisation.
The new camera also comes with a redesigned grip, making it easier to use in different shooting modes, and a second tripod mount and video record button on the front.
These upgrades come at a cost, though, with the new body dropping the electronic viewfinder, built-in flash, and a few other things to hit a lower price point of $649.
It will be available in April with a kit lens for $849.99.
