Summary
Japanese electronics company Toshiba has unveiled its portable Bluetooth record player, the Aurex AX-RP10, which is due to ship in April 2025.
While it can’t compete with more compact options for portable digital music playback, such as the iPod or Sony Walkman, it is still highly portable, and can play both 33 1/3 and 45 rpm records.
It has a built-in battery that charges via USB-C and should last for up to 10 hours.
The belt-driven turntable has no built-in speakers, but users can connect wired headphones or a separate sound system using the included stereo mini audio jack, or they can opt for wireless headphones or speakers via Bluetooth.
