You can hot swap the battery on Samsung’s new rugged tablet

Samsung has launched two new devices, the Galaxy XCover7 Pro, and the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro, both of which have improved battery life and are intended for use in harsh environments.
The Active5 Pro has a dual hot-swap function, allowing the battery to be switched out without turning the device off.
It will be available from June 2025, and will be powered by a Snapdragon processor, with either 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage.
The XCover7 Pro will be available as of May 8, 2025, and runs on a Snapdragon processor with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage that can be expanded to 2 TB.
It has a 4,350 mAh battery, with stereo speakers and an IP68 water and dust rating.
Samsung has not announced the price of either device.
