Bird Buddy’s new nature camera attracts and records more than just birds

The bird-watching company Bird Buddy has launched a Kickstarter campaign for two new products that aim to help users watch and attract plants and insects to their gardens.
The products, called the Petal camera and Wonder Blocks, are expected to ship in mid-2026.
The 4K Petal camera uses artificial intelligence to identify over 2,000 species of plants and insects, and comes with a solar panel to extend its battery life indefinitely.

Wonder Blocks is a modular system designed to support pollinators such as bees and butterflies, and consists of a smart planter and additional modules that offer food, water and shelter for $149,$ 299 or $499 sets.
