Photos of a prospective DJI Osmo 360 prototype dual-lens camera have been leaked on social media.
The camera appears to be fairly compact and square-shaped, in contrast to rival products from Insta360 and the forthcoming GoPro Max 2, which take on a longer stick design.
So far no details of video resolution or framerate have been revealed, but the camera does feature three operation buttons, a tap-and-swipe touchscreen and interchangeable Osmo Action batteries.
It appears that the camera can accept different accessories and its tripod mount seems to have four copper contacts surrounding it to allow for additional functionality.
It is thought that DJI may not bring the camera to market, or at least not in the US, with one usually well-informed DJI leak source speculating that the absence of any prior leaks or rumblings about the camera suggesting it may never see the light of day.
