Summary
Razer has launched a chair-mounted alternative to wireless headphones called the Clio, which doubles as a head cushion.
It connects to most high-back gaming and office chairs and is positioned directly behind the headrest, and features near-field speakers delivering “crisp, clear trebles and deep, punchy bass you can hear and feel”.
The Clio has a 5,400mAh battery offering up to 14 hours of use and supports THX Spatial Audio, Bluetooth connectivity and Razer’s HyperSpeed Wireless protocol for low-lag connection to PCs.
It can also be paired with additonal desktop speakers and used as a dedicated rear channel as part of a larger 7.1 surround sound setup.
The Clio is available for pre-order now for $229.99 and will begin shipping on 16th May.
Also launched is a lightweight 76g Basilisk Mobile mouse that slips into pockets or laptop sleeves and includes a four-way tilting scroll wheel.
It supports wired, Bluetooth or Razer HyperSpeed Wireless connections and has up to 105 hours of battery life with the latter connection and up to 150 hours with Bluetooth.
