Valve will soon let you know if a game is compatible with your SteamOS device

Summary
A new compatibility rating system for third-party devices running SteamOS has been introduced by Valve, the company behind the gaming platform.
The new rating system will let users know whether games are supported by the operating system on other hardware besides the Valve Steam Deck.
Titles will be marked as either “SteamOS Compatible” or “SteamOS Unsupported” on the Steam Store and Steam Client.
Since the ratings are generated from Steam Deck verification results without further testing, developers won’t need to take further steps to ensure their games are compatible with the new OS, and Valve estimates that 18,000 Steam titles will be compatible out of the gate.
The first handheld gaming PC to use SteamOS instead of Windows will be the Lenovo Legion Go S, which is set to be released later this month.
