DJI’s new Osmo Mobile 7 Pro has so very many tricks up its sleeve
1 min read
Summary
DJI has released the OSMO Mobile 7, a stabilised motor set that can hold a smartphone, boasting many new features including a built-in tripod, an extendable arm, and a computer vision camera that enables the machine to automatically track individuals and frame shots, activated by hand gestures.
The device also has a fill light with an adjustable colour temperature and a wireless microphone receiver.
It can be used with DJI’s Mimo app, as well as a smartphone’s inbuilt camera, to follow an owner autonomously, doing away with the need to use the app for filming.
However, it does drain the battery, reducing its life to either four or five hours, depending on whether the fill light is also activated.
There are two versions: the OSMO Mobile 7 Pro, which costs 149,andthestandardOSMOMobile7,whichcosts89.
