Summary
Drone maker DJI has released an upgraded version of its Ronin RS 3 Mini gimbal for small cameras or smartphones, or both.
The new RS 4 Mini offers extended battery life, of 13 hours, faster vertical shooting mode, and a more smoothly operational horizontal handle.
It weighs 890g, fractionally heavier than its predecessor though still under two pounds, and can support a camera weighing up to 4.4lbs.
It is available with or without a tracking module, costing 459and369 respectively, while a third version includes an extra accessory for mobile creators.
The gimbal’s optional tracking module autonomously keeps shots framed for a moving subject, even from 32ft away, using hand gestures to start and stop.
