8BitDo’s Ultimate 2 controller gets an upgrade to next-generation anti-drift sticks

Summary
Controller maker 8BitDo has released the Ultimate 2, an upgrade to its Nintendo Switch Pro-style controller, featuring a new transverse magnetic resistance (TMR) motor that is intended to be more durable than the Hall effect sticks used in its previous model, and also features RGB lighting.
TMR technology is also more power efficient, which can lead to improved battery life, and also reduces the likelihood of ‘joystick drift’ – a common problem with modern controllers.
The Ultimate 2 offers trigger mode switching and extra customisable shoulder buttons, in addition to Bluetooth, wired USB-C, or 2.4GHz wireless connectivity.
It is available to pre-order on Amazon for $59.99 in purple, black or white colour options, but is currently only compatible with PCs running Windows 10 or higher, or Android devices with Android 9 or more recent versions.
