Live updates from Amazon’s 2025 AI Alexa event

Amazon has launched its AI-enhanced version of Alexa, called Alexa Plus, which has a number of new features, including being able to find concert tickets on your behalf or ordering an Uber to pick up a person from the airport.
Subscriptions for Alexa Plus start at $19.99 per month, or it’s free for Prime users.
Amazon is also launching an alexa.com website and a new mobile app where subscribers can use the voice assistant.
The upgraded assistant won’t be available until March, beginning with the US, and there will likely be limitations on availability even then.
