Fidji Simo joins OpenAI as new CEO of Applications

OpenAI’s most popular application is the chatbot ChatGPT, which has seen usage surge since its launch at the end of 2022, with the company reporting that it now has more than 1 million users.
Simo’s appointment comes shortly after the company announced the appointment of Twitter’s CEO Parag Agrawal to its board.
