To find and add someone to Snapchat, users have a few different options; they can add from their contact list, check the “Added Me” section, use the “Quick Add” section, search for them, add people nearby, check stories, and scan codes.
For adding from contacts, users need to open the Snapchat app, press their avatar image in the upper-left corner, swipe down to the “Friends” section and press “Add Friends,” select “Invite Your Friends!” at the top, and select as many contacts as desired to add them in bulk.
For checking the “Added Me” section, users need to go to the “Add Friends” screen, where they will see if anyone has recently added them to Snapchat, and they can accept them as a friend.
Using the “Quick Add” section, Snapchat offers suggestions of people to add, based on activity within the app.
For searching, users cantype the name of the person they are looking for in the search bar, and press the “Add” button for the top result.
