Google’s AI-based chatbot service, known as Gemini, has updated its free version to 2.5, which offers users a far more advanced and detailed service, for which Google hopes to make users pay in future.
The new version replicates human logic and thought processes better, and can provide more in-depth answers to queries, with fewer prompts.
For the time being, Google is offering the experimental version of Gemini 2.5 for free, although it is noticeably slower than the earlier version, and heavier users could be tempted to pay the $19.99 monthly fee for the premium version.
The free version can be accessed through the web version of Gemini.
