Social media app WhatsApp has added the ability to add music to photos or videos, which is similar to Instagram Stories.
This new feature is now available for both Android and iOS users that update their app.
To add music to a status, users first need to select a photo or video.
This will then prompt the media picker to allow the user to choose their desired media.
After this, a new music button will appear in the editing options which will allow users to search and add a clip to their status, which can be edited and trimmed to preference.
This new feature is not currently available on WhatsApp web.
