Use Copilot to Effortlessly Control Android From Your Desktop
1 min read
Summary
Microsoft’s AI assistant, Copilot, now enables users to interact directly with their Android device to perform tasks such as texting and retrieving information via the new Phone Connection feature.
At present, this can only be done on a PC, and only if you have an Android phone, as Apple iPhone is not supported yet.
The Phone Connection feature requires the Phone Link Windows app (version 1.24112.110.0 or later), and a working Microsoft account.
The Phone Connection feature can be used to set timers and alarms, send messages, locate places, and start navigation in map apps, amongst other tasks.
Notifications will be sent from the Phone Link app to the Android device to enable the operation to be completed.
