Summary
- Until recently Instagram didn’t have a Reel downloading feature, forcing users to rely on outside apps or tools to save them
- This has now changed, and you’re able to download Reels directly from the app, similar to TikTok
- To do this, first browse until you find a Reel you like, then press the Share button
- When you do this, some options will pop up at the bottom of the screen, including apps you can share the Reel in
- Keep swiping along the bar at the bottom of the screen (to the right) until you reach the end, where you’ll find the Download button
- Press this, and wait for the notification that the download is complete, and it will be added to your phone’s gallery
