Google’s Find My Device has added a new feature allowing location sharing, enabling users to share their whereabouts with friends or loved ones and to keep track of them
This feature is also available on the Find My app for iPhone and iPad, but this update now brings it toAndroid devices, too
To share your location users should first update the Find My Device app, and then open it and log into their Google account
There is a new People (Beta) tab at the bottom of the app, where users can press the New share button and then decide how long they want to share their location for
They then select a contact to share the location with and press the Share button to confirm it, and the person they have shared their location with will appear in the app
