To share your Mac’s Internet connection, click on the Apple logo in the top left, then select System Settings, navigate to General, then Sharing, select Accessories & Internet and toggle on Internet Sharing, then use the dropdown to select how you want to share your connection such as Wi-Fi or an Ethernet adapter, and configure the devices you want to share your connection with.
There are two ways to share your Wi-Fi password from your Mac.
The first method is to open the Wi-Fi network on another Apple device and share the password when prompted on your Mac, selecting Share when the notification appears.
The second method is to open the Passwords app, go to Wi-Fi, enter your Mac login details or verify your identity with Touch ID, choose the Wi-Fi information you want to share, tap the password once to copy it, then paste and send to the desired recipient.
You can also allow others to join the network via a QR code.
