The Dynamic Island feature was introduced by Apple for select iPhone models, such as the iPhone 14 Pro, to replace the traditional static notch
The feature is functionally useful, but some users find it distracting and would like to minimise its presence on their screen
There is no built-in option within the iPhone to completely disable Dynamic Island, however, the following steps can be taken to reduce its visibility:
Swipe right or left on the Dynamic Island to temporarily hide it, swiping again will re-enable it
Within your iPhone’s Settings, navigate to Apps, then select an app that is supported by Dynamic Island, then turn off the Allow Live Activities option
This will prevent time-sensitive alerts from being displayed
