The new Android 16 will offer users a hybrid camera mode, according to Beta testing, with manual settings also automated to produce the best shots depending on the subject and environment.
Defined colour temperature adjustments will also feature in the new offering with more precise adjustments.
A new HDR offering called UltraHDR will also provide users with a greater dynamic range and use the HEIC format, which is more storage friendly.
Those who want to use the new features will need to own a Pixel 6 phone or later and sign up for the Android Beta program.
Android 16 is expected to be released by Google in May or June of this year.
