Summary
To save a Zoom chat on desktop, click on Chat at the bottom of the screen, then select the three dots, and click Save Chat to download the chat as a .txt file
For mobile users, select Participants, then Chat, and tap Save Chat
To enable auto-saving on desktop, open Settings, then Meetings, toggle on Auto saving chat, and ensure the chats are being saved to a folder on your PC
Toggle on Cloud Recording on mobile and select Advanced Cloud Recording Settings to save chats, start the meeting, click Record, and select Record to the Cloud to save the chat to the cloud
Log in to Zoom and navigate to Recordings to access cloud-saved chats, or look for .txt files named by date or time in Zoom folders on Windows or Mac for manually or autosaved chats.
